Funny movie. It is one of the kind. I did like it and it was worth seeing. I just don't know how the actresses and the actors could play in that movie!!! Some parts were really disgusting but sure it was funny. Go see it. You will laugh.

Good. Joke is followed by joke, but this is also problematic, because after so many jokes it begins not to be funny. Couple of climaxes on the end also does not make good suspension. As a result can be said, if one have nothing to do, he should go and see it.

An excellent spoof of most of the main stream movies of the last few years. If you're looking for an arthouse piece with an interesting plot & depth of character look elsewhere, but if you want to see an entertaining and "fun" movie best described as the "Airplane" or "NakedGun" of 2000 then you have found your movie.

DO NOT GO!!! We have seen all the scary movies that were made fun of in this movie so we were expecting a good laugh during this one. What a total waste of money this movie was. I think we laughed a total of 4 times. It was a total waste of money. If you've seen the trailers then you've seen the whole movie.

I must've seen Scary Movie 3 times - yet. This is the funniest and by far the best movie of all summer. When you know a little the poor victims of this movie ( Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Friday 13th, American Pie, Dawson's Creek ) you'll laugh you head out. And Shorty, what can I say about Shorty? I got papers, blunt, bongs, everything to get a hot nigga high!!

When I went to see it, I was expecting something like a horror movie, like House On Haunted Hill, Gremblins, Jurassic Park, Raising Caine. But it turned out to be a very funny movie baised on the other movie called "I Know What You Did Last Summer". It had alot of funny characters and took alot of scenes from other movies like "There's Something About Mary", "Thinner", etc. Etc. I would definatly see it if you want to see something funny and not to come-out with your nerves extreemly tense.

This is not a 'Scary Movie', the name should be 'Scary Cheap Sex Movie'. It's a very cheap movie if you know what I mean... It's funny in a lot of places, but I have to say I laughed mostly out of embarrasement. And the idea of a very young actress doing yuky sex act in the movie says it all: cheap american spirit.

If you are a bored, mental midget, brought up on gratuitous violence, sex and "gross outs" and you are between the age of 15 and 18 but with an IQ of between 15 and 18 you will love this movie. No story, no real humour (just sight gags), and infinately reliant on you having seen 3 or 4 recent horror movies pitching more or less to the same crowd.

Laugh, laughs and more laughs... This movie picks at movies from The Matrix to The Usual Suspects to I Know What You Did Last Summer to Scream and even the famous Budweiser "What's up" commercials. All of these movies have been creatively packaged into the Scary Movie and recaps some of the best scary and suspense films of the 1990's.

A little too campy for me. If you have seen the trailers, you have saved yourselves the ten bucks to get in. Take that ten spot, and go rent Scream and Airplane. (There were some funny things, though. )

Wazzup!!! "I'm in the house but you can't see me. " "Actually, you're behind the couch. " My popcorn barely made it to my mouth with all of the laughter! The matrix body contortions were better than the real thing. I can't wait to see "Scary Movie II". Could it possibly be as good as the first?

I went to see Scary Movie a few days ago, I honestly didn't like it at all, the previews on the tele were better than the actual movie, If you wanna see it then I hope you like it more than I did, but I do have to admit, it WAS pretty damn funny.

This is a must see it's so funny! I have seen all jim carreys movies and this is just like dumb and dumber and even funner. When this movie hit's the store shelf you bet I'll be the first one out and buying. It make fun of the scary trilogy Scream. We all know about Sidney Prescott and Doeey, with gail whethers. Well in scary movie the main character is cindy and there's doffy to and a reporter that get's stories by having sex with police officers or people that know too much. The only thing about is they make fun of lot's of people but the killer isn't the same as in scream. Most of it is making fun of Scream but some from Scream 2 I recmend it if you like comedys and if you don't see it anyway and aftyer you'll be loving comedys I LOVED IT!

Scary movie is a great parody! It melts many movies together to offer a refreshing one. It makes fun of the stereotypes of horror movies. If you go see the movie, just be ready for a easy and absurd movie you'll love.

Great Movie. Hilarious. I got cramps during the whole thing. Of course, if you go to this movie expecting something like American Beauty, you'll think it sucks. It's a PARODY!! It's dumb, stupid, and the jokes are simplistic. That's what you expect and that's exactly what you get. For the kind of movie, it deserves an A++.

The previews of the movie basically show all the jokes in the movie. I was expecting huge laughter but it was mostly material already used before. Also, why did they think that showing women in bras and underwear would be funny? It's one of those movies that are meant to be on video. The actors themselves seemed to be acting as if they knew their lines weren't funny.
