Marsha signed with Paramount Pictures 81 years ago on May 15, 1935. She was at the studio for 3 years before she moved on to MGM. She had the lead in 6 Broadway shows, many radio shows and live TV shows. She was one of Hollywood's first celebrity activists, working tireless for the United Nations- back when very few actors were supporting this cause. In the 1960's and '70's, she supported anti hunger programs and fighting against world hunger.
For 18 years, Marsha was honorary mayor of Sherman Oaks. She was also one of the first to recognize the growing homelessness problem in the Valley. She took action by helping to open the first homeless shelter in the Valley, a shelter that still operates to this very day). Marsha Hunt is an amazing woman.
Her film is not just a "bio" picture about a woman who did good things for the planet. This film is Marsha's final act of social activism. The film is a call to action for up and coming activists all over the world.
